The Associate Consultant position will be responsible for:

The Associate Consultant position will be responsible for:
Execution
- Support the team in developing creative consulting solutions for clients facing specific difficult challenges or opportunities in Nigeria
- Understand where to acquire relevant information according to research requirement
- Assist with drafting of briefing notes, research papers and a range of client deliverables
- Assist and deal with ad hoc needs and queries
- Support research and analysis products: Assist in monitoring political,socio-economic, commercial, legal and regulatory developments in Nigeria
- identify issues relevant to our key accounts that may require further analysis
- Proactively brief account leads on key trends to help advise clients effectively
Research and analysis
- Draft short research papers and briefing notes
- Maintain some regional expertise through desktop research, attendance at relevant seminars and in-country intelligence gathering
- Support marketing initiatives to generate new business leads
- Support development of proposals and pitches
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Skills- A Bachelors degree or higher in relevant discipline from a reputable institution
- At least one year experience in a research and analysis role focused on Nigerian politics
- Attention to detail
- A Keen interest in current affairs in Nigeria and Africa as whole
- A Good grasp of current political and economic matters
- An Excellent analytical skills
- An Excellent investigative and analytical skills; Has an inquisitive mind
- An Excellent verbal and written communication in English
