Our clients are among the largest investors , companies and institutions on the African continent. We help them to manage complex relationships with demanding and critical audiences including regulators, media, capital markets, customers and suppliers.

Job description

The role
 
The Associate Consultant position will be responsible for:
 
Execution
  • Support the team in developing creative consulting solutions for clients facing specific difficult  challenges or opportunities in Nigeria
  • Understand where to acquire relevant information according to research requirement
  • Assist with drafting of briefing notes, research papers and a range of client deliverables
  • Assist and deal  with ad hoc needs and queries
  • Support research and analysis products: Assist in monitoring political,socio-economic, commercial, legal and regulatory developments in Nigeria 
  • identify issues relevant to our key accounts that may require further analysis
  • Proactively brief account leads on key trends to help advise clients effectively
 
Research and analysis
  • Draft short research papers and briefing notes  
  • Maintain some regional expertise through desktop research, attendance at relevant seminars and in-country intelligence gathering
  Marketing and Business development
  • Support marketing initiatives to generate new business leads
  • Support development of proposals and pitches

  

Desired Skills and Experience

 Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelors degree or higher in relevant discipline from a reputable institution
  • At least one year experience in a research and analysis role focused on Nigerian politics
  • Attention to detail
  • A Keen interest in current affairs in Nigeria and Africa as whole
  • A Good grasp of current political and economic matters
  • An Excellent analytical skills
  • An Excellent investigative and analytical skills; Has an inquisitive mind
  • An Excellent verbal and written communication in English
