Job Overview

• The Accountant will undertake  duties consistent with the general scope of work as assigned by the Head of Finance in building capacity and providing support to the states. 
• The Accountant will also work under the direct supervision of the Head of Finance.
•  He/She will  be responsible for providing capacity building and support to state, local government and health facility officials and staff in the respective states, ensuring proper financial documentation and reporting, proper preparation of requests for cash and proper processing of cash retirements and opening of bank accounts. 
• This engagement is renewable annually based on performance. 

Academic and professional qualifications

• minimum of second class upper (2:1) in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• must be members of ICAN / ACCA
• write very well in English
• must not be more than 28 years old
• speak English fluently
