Account Support Specialist  

Role Description:
This role is responsible for delivering support to our small business clients. You'll be first point of contact in resolving client queries and will play a key role in ensuring HGE Capital delivers an awesome customer service experience to our clients.

Key skills and responsibilities includes:
  • Full of initiative with the ability to self-manage and be flexible.
  • Assisting clients with daily bank account reconciliation.
  • Carrying out tasks in relation to accounting transactions, including checking and posting of accounting entries, obtaining authorisation for transactions.
  • Full of common sense and good judgment, knowing what customer feedback needs be passed on internally to further enhance the HGE Capital customer service experience
  • A fast learner, familiar and comfortable with technology - keen to learn the most exciting cloud accounting software

You will have:
  • Good judgment to recognise customer feedback needs to be passed on internally to further enhance HGE Capital customer service experience
  • Accounting qualification – ICAN, ANAN or ACCA will be an advantage
  • Previous experience of working within a close-knit team environment, preferably within a sales or customer services administration environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially Microsoft Excel
    and Word






Sales Associate

Role Description:
This role is a hybrid role with your time being split between office and face-to-face client meetings where you will be responsible for selling HGE Capital services directly to small business owners. You will work directly with customers to capture sales opportunities.

Key deliverables will include:
  • Develop new selling relationships with assigned partner account
  • Penetrate new divisions and organisations within assigned accounts
  • Develop selling opportunities within existing customer accounts
  • Schedule and attend sales call appointments with clients
  • Develop an account management plan to sell to customer based on their business needs

You will have:

2+ years experience within the IT/ Accounting Sales industry
  • Proven track record within a target driven sales environment
  • History of creating and developing client relationships
  • Ability to work within a small team in a fast paced environment
  • Activity seeking to develop career into an internally & externally focused role
  • Proven flair of creating, developing and nurturing sales opportunities
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions


IT Support Specialist


Role Description:
This role is responsible for delivering IT support solutions to internal and external clients. As a highly visible representative member of the team, you will be involved in implementing our IT initiatives.

Key deliverables will include:
  • New user setup and general Active Directory user administration
  • Systems documentation, managing IT inventory and asset registers and maintaining the IT knowledge base
  • Liaise with HGE Capital external partner as and when needed to resolve technical issues
  • Diagnosing, investigating and resolving incidents and problems
  • Responding rapidly to user requests and logged incidents
  • Hardware selection, procurement and asset management

To excel in this role, you will need:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Past experience working within IT support/helpdesk
  • Experience in Microsoft, Apple and cloud delivered technologies

Business Development Manager

Role Description:
This role is responsible for selling HGE Capital services directly to small business owners. You will be responsible for achieving small business-specific revenue targets for HGE Capital in Nigeria.

Key deliverables in the first year will include:
  • Drive business development opportunities forward and develop relationships with strategic partners at all levels including senior executives
  • Responsibility for managing, coaching, and mentoring of sales associates
  • Development of business and sector plans to help individual sales associates achieve targets
  • Provide key support to the day-to-day operations of the sales team and ensure that SLAs and proper procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Overall people management of your team including ongoing performance management, professional skills development and career progression
  • Responsibility for HGE Capital Nigeria south-western states sales target
  • Advance and promote strategic partnerships with major markets including banks, telecommunications and charities
  • Act as the lead and point of contact for business development deals and strategic partnerships

You will need:
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience
  • Extensive industry knowledge, contacts and networks
  • Strong sales and people leadership skills and experience
  • Ability to influence and drive sales within partner channels
  • Strong marketing and business development skills
  • Proven sales performance and results driven
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation including senior management
